Cultural Marketplace & EdTech Platform
Overview
CultureConnect is a community-driven platform designed to preserve and promote traditional culture by making cultural products and learning opportunities more accessible. It combines an e-commerce marketplace with a cultural learning platform where users can discover traditional products, explore courses, enroll in classes, and connect with cultural teachers and creators. The platform supports multiple user roles, including customers, sellers, and teachers, with dedicated dashboards and functionality for each. Sellers can manage their products and sales, while teachers can create and manage courses, students, and classes. Users can browse products, manage their cart, place orders, enroll in courses, track their learning, and book classes. I primarily contributed to the frontend development, focusing on responsive UI/UX, authentication flows, role-based interfaces, navigation, and interactive components.

- Built responsive cultural marketplace product catalog and artisan showcase interfaces.
- Implemented client-side shopping cart state management, checkout flows, and order confirmation UI.

Challenges & Solutions
Key Challenges & Constraints
The main challenge was designing a simple and consistent experience for two complex systems—e-commerce and online learning. We also had to handle multiple user roles, protected routes, authentication flows, dashboards, and a large number of interactive pages while maintaining responsive design, usability, and smooth frontend performance.
Engineering Approach & Solutions
We created a unified digital platform that brings cultural commerce and education together. Separate role-based dashboards allow sellers and teachers to manage their respective activities, while users can seamlessly discover products, purchase cultural items, and learn traditional skills through courses and classes.
